Project Coordinator, Trainer (Re-announcement)

The Open Institute is seeking two qualified candidates for the Women and E-learning program. The mission of Women program is to inform and facilitate discussion on women issues and their rights, and empower women through the training and strategic use of Information Communication Technology (ICT). The mission of the E-learning program is to provide e-learning know-how, to create and to maintain network of e-learning practitioners in Cambodia.

1. Project Coordinator Assistant – Women Program

Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Coordinator to maintain a network of contacts with organizations working on women’s issues, promoting and supporting a culture of effective communication through ICT. Provide guidance to all content collectors of the Open Institute’s women’s web portal regarding ongoing development of the structure and content of the portal, as well as on types of content that need to be collected and methods and approaches to collecting and managing the content.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor degree of Communication or Human and Science or equivalent
  • A minimum of two-year work experience in dealing with media/communications or related field.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management, research methodology, electronic communication, gender equality, information management, basic content publishing and photo editor application.
  • Be motivated to work for a social project and to continue learning while working.
  • Speak and write good Khmer and English languages.
  • Have good time management and interpersonal skills, be discipline, ability to work as part of a team member and under pressure, and be able to work with little supervision.

2. Trainer - E-learning Program

Responsibilities:

Develop training materials for e-learning courses, to adapt training materials from English to Khmer, to evaluate and improve training content, and to do e-learning tutoring.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor degree of Education or Computer Science or equivalent
    A minimum of two-year work experience as a teacher.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of electronic communication, gender equality, information management, basic content publishing and photo editor application.
  • Be motivated to work for a social project and to continue learning while working.
  • Speak and write good Khmer and English languages.
  • Have good time management and interpersonal skills, be discipline, ability to work as part of a team member and under pressure, and be able to work with little supervision.
